Longer studies are also needed to compare CH-IPT versus 3Mix-MP success rates for the treatment of deep caries in primary teeth. Further study should focus on the molecular and cellular responses of IPT and 3Mix-MP techniques in the treatment of Phosphoglycerate kinase deep carious lesions in primary teeth and the long-term effect of the local use of 3Mix-MP in paediatric dentistry.
