“BACKGROUND: The present study describes an electrocoagulation process for treating laundry waste-water using aluminum plates. The effect of various parameters such pH, voltage, hydraulic retention time (HRT),

and number of aluminum plates between the anode and cathode on efficiency of treatment are investigated.

RESULTS: Experimental results showed that by increasing HRT, treatment efficiency AZD7762 datasheet increases but beyond 45 min changes are negligible. Among the results for chemical oxygen demand (COD), phosphorus, detergent, colour and turbidity, the lowest decrease was found for phosphorus. “OBJECTIVE: To examine the prevalence of sterilization among women aged 20-34 years in rural and urban areas in the United States.

METHODS: Data were obtained from the 2006-2010 National Survey of Family Growth, a cross-sectional survey conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The study population included the 4,685 female respondents who did not want to become pregnant at the time of the survey. Women who were not sexually active with men or were infertile for reasons other than contraception were excluded. We performed bivariate and stratified analysis and multivariable logistic regression modeling to determine the associations between place of residence and sterilization after considering other demographic characteristics.
